Still Moment by Evelina Kvartunaite

This is a digital artwork that I created in the Procreate program. The drawing was inspired by the photograph of Indre Krucaite taken by Monika Markeviciute. The drawing is part of a series of photographs and digital artworks focusing on diversity and human beauty that I have been working on for around eight months now. I was inspired by Indre’s positivity and her advocacy for bodies with disabilities. I found that drawing her really gave me more insight into the details, the soft approach, and the strength that is so powerful and sometimes unseen. I find it so important to approach difficult subjects with creativity, love, and kindness.

Evelina Kvartunaite is an expert and educator for diversity, equity, and inclusion. She also does photography and audiovisual arts. She is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, but has been working in Europe and Northern Africa. She is also a published author and has been doing digital artwork for the past few years.
